Finding the right School

Initial Consultation:
Our process begins with a comprehensive consultation with the student and their family. This meeting allows us to understand the student’s unique educational background, current challenges, strengths, and long-term aspirations. We take the time to listen carefully to both the student’s and parents’ perspectives, ensuring that academic, personal, and social priorities are all considered.

Learner Profile: Following the consultation, we create a detailed learner profile that serves as the cornerstone of our recommendations. This profile is developed using a wide range of input, including teacher reports, academic records, assessments from educational psychologists, insights from counsellors, and any relevant feedback from other professionals engaged in the student’s development.

School List: Once the learner profile is established, we use it to curate a tailored list of schools that align with the student’s strengths, goals, and family preferences. We begin with a broad long-list of potential schools, chosen based on their academic reputation, extracurricular opportunities, support systems, and cultural fit. Through a collaborative process with the family, we refine this list into a focused shortlist of schools that best match the student’s profile and aspirations.

Application

Admissions and Application Support
At Parker Hamilton Consulting, we provide comprehensive guidance to students and their families throughout the entire admissions and application process. Our role is to ensure that every requirement is met with precision and efficiency, minimising stress for families while maximising the student’s chances of success.

This support includes overseeing the completion of all registration requirements and the timely submission of application materials, academic records, personal statements, and any supplementary documentation requested by the schools. Where applicable, we also coordinate the preparation and submission of materials to Learning Support departments, ensuring that the student’s individual needs are clearly and professionally represented.

Beyond documentation, we arrange and facilitate school visits, giving families the opportunity to experience each institution first-hand. This includes guided tours, attendance at open days, and preparation for student and parent interviews.
